- The debtor may be subject to insolvency proceedings of a natural person if there is any of the following features of the insolvency proceedings of a natural person:
- this person does not have the possibility to settle debts for which the term of performance has occurred, and the debts in total exceed LVL 5,000;
- due to provable circumstances, it will not be possible for this person to settle debts, the maturity of which will occur within a year, and the debts in total exceed LVL 10,000.
- A precondition for the application of the insolvency proceedings of a natural person is the sufficiency of funds to cover the one-time remuneration of the administrator in the amount of two minimum monthly salaries.
